When it comes to history, Kim doesn't just talk about it. She lives it.
Inspired by the Civil War as a key turning point in American history, this lifelong history buff started participating in re-enactments of its battles in 2002.
Joining the 24th Georgia Infantry in Hagerstown, this Reisterstown resident started her own group, Company I, 1st Maryland Volunteer Infantry, in 2004. Despite the apparent conflict of interest, Kim has fought for both sides, but has yet to change the outcome of the war.
Recognizing Reisterstown's importance in the history of our nation and state, Kim also fights for our community every day and helps our town make ends meet as the Treasurer of the RIA. She also chairs RIA's Farmer's Market Committee to help support local agriculture.
