TO HELP INDIVIDUALS GAIN FINANCIAL STABILITY BY PROVIDING THE TRAINING, SUPPORT, AND OPPORTUNITIES NEEDED TO LEARN A TRADE AND GAIN A CAREER. Hope - Dignity - Self-Worth. These core values play a vital role in most of our lives. Possessing these values, even at varying degrees, provides us with the ability to keep moving even when obstacles get in our way. For individuals living in financial instability, their lives are full of a multitude of difficult circumstances which layered on top of one another, can cause a complete sense of loss. When faced with the responsibility of a family, this loss is felt by everyone; creating a cyclic environment which is extremely difficult to break. Through our free TRADES PROGRAM, we are devoted to helping individuals, 17 and older, gain financial stability by providing the training, support and opportunities needed to “Learn a Trade and Gain a Career”. With each learned skill, students are given the opportunity to earn money while mastering that skill under the supervision of an instructor. Upon completion of the entire skills program, students enter our PAID APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM. Through this program, students will continue to earn money while gaining the experience needed to obtain a job in their trade. Students may stay in this program until a job is secured. The Cavanagh House is a volunteer driven organization. 100% of money raised goes towards our mission. Money is raised through our online retail store, pop-up boutique, fundraisers, grants and private donations.
