Everyone should feel at home in Reisterstown. That's why our Community Crisis Center is determined to prevent homelessness and offer support for low income families. Catering to residents of Reisterstown, Owings Mills and Glyndon, the Center provides emergency food items, personal hygiene products, school supplies, and monthly grants to prevent evictions and to assist with utility bills. But the Center doesn't merely give handouts to those in need. Beyond financial assistance, the Center is deeply committed to crisis prevention by enhancing the future of those it serves. That's why all grant applicants must participate in the Center's financial literacy training. The Center's mission is actually very simple: To eradicate poverty and put itself out of business.
