    In 2024, Reisterstown Main Street made significant strides in revitalization, community engagement, and preserving its historic charm through key initiatives:


    •  Boosting Economic Growth: Providing capital improvement grants to support existing businesses and attract new ones to fill vacant spaces.
    • Improving Infrastructure & Public Spaces: Partnering with state and local officials to upgrade sidewalks, curbs, driveway aprons, and enhance streetscapes with murals, sculptures, and signage.
    • Beautifying Main Street: Organizing streetscape projects and cleanups to create an inviting, thriving commercial district.
    • Ensuring Accessibility & Safety: Upgrading sidewalks, curbs, and driveway aprons to meet ADA standards, ensuring a safe and walkable community.
    • Preserving Historic Character: Supporting property owners with façade improvement grants to maintain Reisterstown’s historic identity.
    • Celebrating Local History: Installing Heritage Trail signs and Historic Plaques on historic buildings to share Reisterstown’s rich past.
